We keep sufficient stock for Burl Veneer in the UAE, to cater to all requirements from local and international market. A Burl is a tree growth in which the grain has grown in a deformed manner. It is commonly found in the form of a rounded outgrowth on a tree trunk or branch that is filled with small knots from dormant buds.
Dyed Veneers are manufactured via a four-stage industrial process, composed of bleaching, dying, drying, and pressing. Here the veneer sheets are immersed in the dye so that it fully penetrates the veneer, resulting in a uniform tone and an enhanced natural grain. Al Ghanem is specialized for the supply of high-quality dyed veneers any kind of projects.
Since inception, we have been delivering quality veneer recons to local and Middle East market. Recon wood veneers are a renewable product and also it is an less-expensive alternative to some of the rarer and extremely expensive veneers.
Through long-term partnerships, we can offer you layon veneers in fixed sizes for panels and doors as well as furniture production. Some companies prefer this as it costs down their waste and their manufacturing time. These layons would be made from our high-quality raw veneers and under our supervision. In addition to the threadless, edge-glued joint, we can also offer the traditional zigzag glue thread for those that may still prefer it. You can choose between book matched, slip matched, random matched and reverse slip random matched. We can just about use any one of our 100 different species to make these layons
